    On Saturday March 25, HERE hosted a reading of Taylor Mac's Prosperous Fools as part of our Culturemart Festival at our home in NYC. Culturemart is our annual festival of workshops by our resident artists. It's a vital testing ground, an environment where audiences can sample live art in progress, provide feedback and play a crucial role in the development of new work.

    Prosperous Fools started as a new translation of Moliere's Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme, transformed into an adaptation and then morphed into an exciting relevant contemporary response to Moliere's original and today's political climate.
