Show Press
- “Prototype is the teenage hacker of the opera world, and in its first public action, it’s left a message blinking on Big Opera’s screen: CAN YOU DO THIS?”
- — New York Magazine
- “'Sumeida’s Song' is an intensely dramatic 60-minute four-character opera with a searing score that deftly draws from Arabic and Western contemporary musical sources. ”
- — New York Times
- “'Soldier Songs' (2006), [...] has a rock-infused rhythmic vitality and melodic inventiveness that keep the audience perpetually off-balance, elements that made his "Dog Days" so exciting.”
