Aging Magician

About the show

Following along in the development of this unique music-theatre project that was showcased in PROTOTYPE 2013, Aging Magician is a composite of sonic and visual elements that paints an allegory on time, youth, and the magic of ordinary life. The performance takes the audience on the journey of a reclusive older man’s vibrant last adventure, brought to life by a team of multidisciplinary artists who combine music, theatre, puppetry, instrument making, and scenic design to create an enduring work for the stage.

Aging Magician is a part of our third annual PROTOTYPE Festival, co-produced with Beth Morrison Projects. For more information on the artists, works and events in this year's festival please visit the PROTOTYPE website.
