About the show
Fordham / Primary Stages MFA in Playwriting program is proud to present two new plays from our second year students, graduating in May 2017.
STRANGE, AMERICA: April 20-23
by Edward Precht, MFA 2017
A young couple finds themselves stranded in a mysterious town in the Pacific Northwest. Their uneasy relationship is about to become the least of their worries. This magical, dark, funny new work explores the tall tales we tell others, the lies we tell ourselves, and the monsters that lurk behind us all.
A SMALL GROUP: April 27-30
by Taylor Gregory, MFA 2017
An aspiring young comedian wakes up in rehab and can’t remember how he got there. He is befriended by the other patients but he resists. The new resident doesn’t believe he belongs there. Does he or doesn’t he? While he struggles with the realities of this strange new world he discovers that all tribes carry a stigma.
