A Study of Occupied Spaces MElder Movement Art

About the show

A Study of Occupied Spaces asks questions concerning the lives of many New York City residents termed “homeless." The unique, complex history of New York City homelessness is examined through high impact/physical dance, theatre, emotionality, and historical text. This is MElder Movement Art's attempt to highlight the narrative of more than 50,000 homeless NYC residents and bring awareness to a very real issue facing our great city.

This production is a part of SubletSeries@HERE: Co-op, HERE's curated summer rental program, which provides artists with subsidized space and equipment, as well as technical support.
