HERE Hosts

May 13th
A group of queer teens meet with hopes of finding community- and maybe a sense of style. But plans go left when two meddling magical Drag Queens enter the scene to selfishly find healing. Throughout the meeting, the students explore their identity, question systems of power, and dance through their struggles. Together they find something deeper than community- they find the stars within themselves.
GSA: The Play! (Gay Stars Aligned) is a performance of National Queer Theater’s Staging Pride: Queer Youth Theater, a free afterschool theater program for queer and trans teens in NYC. Staging Pride is made possible by the Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI), with support from The Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation, Find Your Light Foundation, and Feel Something Foundation.
