Be with us as she passes the torch and we blaze a new trail for HERE. 

Don your wonderfully weird attire, ignite your wildly imaginative spirits, and bring along your adventurous friends as we celebrate our uniqueness and boldness together. We’ll close our eyes together and let the dream begin…We can be heroes, forever and ever. What d’you say?

Our 30th Anniversary Gala will feature an array of performance offerings and intimate, interpersonal experiences from innovative and influential artists who have played a vital role in HERE’s 30-year history, inviting guests to celebrate HERE’s past and support HERE on this new journey forward. 

We are doing things differently with this gala so that our whole community can be included and come together to look towards our future. It will take place all over our building – in every nook and cranny. No fancy dinner at some event space and separate afterparty this year. Instead, all night long, yummy bites, excellent drinks, 30 birthday cakes and, of course, incredible performances. We plan performances for larger groups of 80-100 folks as well as private performances for small groups of 8 (who will pay extra for that fun intimacy), followed as always by the dance party. And the best part at every HERE gala, tons of fun people from HERE’s past, present, and future. Will you be a hero and partner at this pivotal moment for HERE?

Enjoy an exclusive singing car ride for four with Paul Pinto: Karaoke to some avant-jammy 20-second faux pop songs about heroes like Dr. Peetee, Huey Lewis, and some guy named Hans.

Enjoy an intimate performance with MacArthur Fellow and the Dream Music Puppetry Program’s Artistic Director Basil Twist featuring mystery puppets.
