Piece together a fragmented memory trail revealing the hedonistic reality that lies just beneath our everyday existence. As three lives descend into a violent underworld of extreme pleasures-set to throbbing Latin beats-RUS asks the question: “How far are you willing to go to feel something new?”

Exploring what happens when the comforts of one’s world are left behind for an intense pleasure-consumed existence, this tale of overwhelming sensations and going beyond limitations immerses four characters in a world where dance & gesture become communication, and layered projections create scenic environments. The integrated elements of this production include performance, video, text, dance & experimental puppetry. Rus marks the fourth collaboration among James Scruggs, Kristin Marting and Hal Eagar.
