Wind Set-up

March 27 – 31, 2013

Daily life set into motion by the wind and what it carries your way, a newspaper, a chair, a house. This describes a typical day in Wind Set-up, a new movement theatre piece that presents objects as puppets to reveal the poetry within a simple everyday item.

Lead Funding for Wind Set-up is provided by The Jim Henson Foundation and the Mertz Gilmore Foundation. HERE’s Dream Music Puppetry Program is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State’s 62 counties; the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council; and HERE’s community of generous individual donors.

Wind Set-up played March 27-31, 2013 in the Dorothy B. Williams Theatre.
