Chimpanzee
HERE@Home Screening: APR 29 @ 7PM on Facebook Live
“To endow animals with human emotion has long been a scientific taboo. But if we do not, we risk missing something fundamental, about animals and us.”
– Frans de Waal, primatologist and ethologist
An aging, isolated chimpanzee pieces together the fragments of her childhood in a human family. Bleak reality bleeds to vivid memory in this non-verbal puppet play, based on true events.
